I don't think I understand the issue you're facing.
You can look into Jump Options

You can check the after 20 seconds, when lion is blocking the attacks it jumps too much where regular jump is small, you can also check regular jump and blocking attacks jump both has different jump distance.
while blocking the attacks lion keeps jumping too much from ground and cannot visible in camera for some time in air.

For large height characters, whole character is not shown in screen while blocking the attacks and jumps.
You might have a Y force being applied on one of your hits on block.
Set Apply Different Block Force to true.
Set the Y Force to 0.
