Universal Fighting Engine Forum → 2D Gameplay → Gauge GUI not working!
The default settings for the demo files has rules similar to the Street Fighter format: Bar starts empty, hitting/wiffing moves recharge the bar, special moves burns the bar.
The training mode is set to start with a full bar and always recharge after a certain amount of time.
Most of the settings you are experiencing are just part of the template files, and you can change them all at will.
Try looking into these settings and see what better fits your game:
Global Editor -> Training Mode
Character Editor -> Max Gauge
Move Editor -> Gauge Options
All the settings are good, but its still broken. Could I of accidentally broken the code for it? (I have source)
What scripts control the GUI of the gauge? (cause its only the GUI thats not working)
Ok, update:
The issue was inside the BattleGUI prefab, the gameobject "GaugeBarFill" had Image Type set to Sliced, this needs to be set to Filled!
