Topic: Simple One Button Charge Move [SOLVED]

Hey there!

I cannot seem to to create a move with properties as in Footsies, as seen here:

I tried this setup and fiddled around with the settings. Still, I can't get it to work.

Do any of you fine folks have a solution?

Re: Simple One Button Charge Move [SOLVED]

No help yet. Maybe if I am more specific, people will help.

I want to implement a simple charge move.
Button Press => Hold => Release => Execution

The button should be the same as for other attacks. I am aiming for a one-button-solution.

The character should be able to move back and forth while the move is charging.

Please see the video above for an example from another game and my set up so far.

Please help or give me hints on how to progress. Thanks

Edit: I have a Pro license but am willing to upgrade to Source if needed.

Re: Simple One Button Charge Move [SOLVED]

I believe there is a way to achieve this, but I can't quite remember or figure out a way that doesn't involve coding atm.

The way you described your attempts with the input options should work (intuitively its the correct way to do it), but it is in fact not working. Let me look deeper into this and I'll get back to you.

Able to do a move that isn't the charge move on same button then preform charge move
Can also do when moving around
