Topic: Counter Hit to interrupt Opponent Action [SOLVED]

Hey there!

I want to recreate counter hit behaviour as seen in this example:

With my current settings I get this (I did it in training mode to stress my point):

How can I make counter hits interrupt player animatons? Do I need to use overrides?

Do you have any hitstun rigged up on any of you're moves?
You can find counter hit options in global options

Forgot to include those, thank you. The capture you see runs with the settings shown below. I tried different configurations as well.

I couldn't find the tools to achieve the desired interuption behaviour. 

That's why I decided to post here.

How can I fix this please? Will I need to upgrade to Source?

Can't anyone help me out here? I've been at this for over a month now and can't find a solution. I fiddled with counter hit settings in Global. I fiddled with hit stun settings in the moves themselves.


Why don't counter hits interrupt the animation?

How come my characters are able to spam attacks at an insane speed even though they are clearly hit?

Have you look at player conditions? If you have no player conditions in a move file you can preform the move during stun
