Topic: Any way to flip props based on which way player is facing?

been looking all over the forums with no luck.

question is title, how do i move my characters sword to the other hand when hes facing left? does this just have something to do with mechanim?

example of problem (sword is always on right hand of model):

What you are looking for is the character rotation options:
http://www.ufe3d.com/doku.php/global:rotation

Toggle "Right Side Mirror" off to have it so the character rotates without mirroring. It will look something like this:
