Topic: Alert Flag on Private messages/ email connection

I know this seems a bit silly, but is probably very simple, and would really help everyone connect I feel.  Just having a flag that goes up when I have a private message would be great.  If I got a notification in my attached email, to click, and take me to UFE, even better!  I rarely log in here, but would love to every day.  I think with those features it would put me on auto pilot to do this.  I think this is so for others as well, but I could be wrong.

Yep. The current alert system in this forum is pretty bad. Currently it just makes the "PM" button bold, and more often than not we don't receive email notifications (even though it should already do that by default).
I should have picked a different forum. Anyways, it might take a little bit, but I'll try looking deeper into the forum coding and see if I can do some modifications of my own.
