Topic: How to achieve smooth transitions between animations?

Now the transitions are intermittent if you change directions

Simply increase the default blend duration. If this does not work, check to see if any of your animations have blend overrides.

No, it doesn't, it feels like there is no blending in some animations

Under each basic animation or move fie (Animation Options) there is an option to override blending in/out. You can set individual values for specific animations.
Depending on the animations being blended however, the interpolation might look faster if the length of the animation is too short.
