There are 2 ways you can accomplish this:
- Add armor to your special move:
http://www.ufe3d.com/doku.php/move:armor
- Make your character's hitboxes invincible during the move:
http://www.ufe3d.com/doku.php/move:invincibleframes
Hey mistermind, i was curious about this question aswell, this would work on the caster, but im curious if theres a way to make a move not show any hit reaction on the opponent while damaging them, like for example if the caster used a poison type move, i need the opponent to keep being damaged while being able to move around, i cannot put super armor on every move of the opponent to prevent that.
You can try setting the hit stun under active frames to 0, as well as modifying the effects from the selected under Global Editor -> Hit Effect Options:
