Topic: 「Use Move File」 checkbox

What happens if I turn on the 「Use Move File」 checkbox in the BasicMoves - Damage Reaction item?
It seems that more detailed settings can be made for gauges, etc., but will the time to roll back due to damage be based on the Move File?
(Even if it is set in the attacker's Active Frames, is it invalidated?)

Re: 「Use Move File」 checkbox

This is a pretty technical question.

Are you asking how move files interact with the rollback netcode?

Re: 「Use Move File」 checkbox

Is there a rollback netcode involved? No,I don't know about that.
I would like to create a damage limiter, as in the game Garoden Fist or Twist BB
(During a series of moves, once the damage reaches the limiter value,
no matter how many attacks are continued thereafter, there will be no damage).
It looked like I would have to use a Move file to handle that kind of detail.

Re: 「Use Move File」 checkbox

You set damage of each hit to be 0 in any move but, you might also need to set the minimum damage in combo options to 0. Keep this in mind if you can't get a move to deal 0 damage.

Re: 「Use Move File」 checkbox

This is a global editor, correct?
UFE2 doesn't seem to be able to refer to the opponent's gauge as a condition, so I guess the limiter cannot be triggered at any given strength value position.

Re: 「Use Move File」 checkbox

Yes it's in the global editor.
Out of the box UFE can only add to the opponent's gauge.
