Topic: Possibly a bug in "landing" or "falling" animations SOLVED

I need to investigate this further but there is maybe a bug in landing or falling animtion? I cannot seems to get a smooth transition between landing and idle animation. And I noticed theres a small gap in all characters landing and idle animations? Do you see it too or is it just me?

Does the Cancel When Landing option effect anything?

If you jump using robot kyle, pause, then play it frame by frame using the button next to pause you will see that kyle doesn't stay in the same place where he landed. The same happens for my character. I don't know if this is because animation clip settings or why.. need to investigate more.. Just a minor thing but now that I know its there it bugs me.. big_smile

Hmm, Ok not a bug. Just assumed it was because all characters do it. Its beacause animation clips aren't 100% accurate. Made sure mine was and now its spot on.

I still haven't got my head around the fact that animations affect the character location, and the locations isn't the root bone (since there isn't root bones in mecanim).
